Hello
Tamara Stanfill - Founder & Creator PartOfTheSOULution
My Bio
I am a mindfulness meditation and yoga teacher based in Northern California, with a focus on uniting the mind, body, breath and inner consciousness, ultimately allowing and encouraging relaxation, present-moment awareness, self-compassion and a gentle quieting of the mind.

As a 200+ hours Yoga Alliance certified teacher, I offer a gentle mindful vinyasa style flow class, incorporating elements from my Raja and Hatha yoga training, plus a little humor and self-deprecation - something I picked up from earlier careers as a Performer at Walt Disney World, or through improv comedy studies at The Upright Citizens Brigade in NY, among many other stage and screen experiences.

My intention is for my students to develop their own inner voice, trust, and wisdom; ultimately allowing them to find more love for themselves, others, and the world around them. My classes focus on meditation, mindfulness, self-compassion, and creating more grounded awareness and presence, in order to bring that awakened energy into their daily life.

I began my yogic journey as a drama student (although I didn’t know it was called Yoga then), and continued those practices into college, studying Theatre Arts at the University of Northern Colorado. Later in life, while living overseas, I was a Karma Yogi for The Life Centre in London, England, helping with various classes, and also participated in The Mindfulness Association’s 2014 Mindfulness & Compassion Conference in Scotland. Once back in the US, I went on to be an integral member of the team helping to organize the Empathy & Compassion in Society conference hosted by the Tenzin Gyatso Institute in San Francisco in November, 2014. In 2023, I graduated from the two-year Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Training Certification Program (MMTCP) led by Jack Kornfield and Tara Brach, in collaboration with Sounds True and the University of California's Greater Good Science Center of Berkeley.

When not teaching or practicing yoga, I can be found exploring the vineyards of Napa and Sonoma, or leading wine tastings, as a PR Manager for several wineries in the region.
