Service Description

During this six-week, online course, we will dive into the wisdom, philosophies, and traditions behind mindfulness meditation practices. You will learn tools and techniques based on the insight wisdom tradition, covering questions and topics on the following: What Is Mindfulness?, Mindfulness of Thoughts, Breath, Body, and Emotions, as well as Loving-Kindness, Gratitude, Compassion, and Metta practices. Perfect for those who have never practiced meditation before, as well as experienced practitioners, this course will allow you to explore and tap into your own inner wisdom, while learning tools and techniques that may allow you to feel more grounded, more centered, more calm, and perhaps less stressed, in your every day life. Each 90 minute class will offer a mix of experiential practice, teacher-led lecture, and group shared discussions and Q&A. Any and all persons with various experiences, lifestyles, abilities, ethnicities, and backgrounds, are very welcome to attend. Each class is $25, totaling $150 for the six weeks. A portion of the funds raised will go to the Jesse Lewis Choose Love Foundation.
